For the next six months the three of us would rehearse and record in my home studio, in preparation for a CD release and a steady performance schedule.

This too never came to fruition, and with only one very receptive public appearance to our name, things began to disolve internally quite quickly.

During our rehearsal stages, Pat had joined a successful U2 tribute band called "Joshua Tree". Their overnight success had left him unable to juggle the two projects. He bowed out gracefully in the summer of 2002.

Reluctant to give up, Phil and I forged ahead and continued to rehearse new material while looking for a bass player. It quickly became increasingly more difficult to keep Phil's focus on the project and once again a band is no more.

In the short time Link4 was together, the band was very productive. An album's worth of material was recorded, some of which I consider to be my best songs. There is still work to be done, but the basic tracks are there. I do Plan to finish the album in the future and will probably post more songs as they are completed.
